Johannes Høsflot Klæbo continued his winning ways a week after completing a historic Olympic campaign on Saturday with another cross country World Cup sprint victory on Saturday.

Klæbo claimed World Cup victory number 108 at the Swedish venue of Falun where women's gold medallist Linn Svahn delighted a home crowd with victory as well.

Klæbo became the first Winter Olympian to win six golds at one Winter Olympics for a record career tally of 11 golds when he swept all six races at the Milan/Cortina Games.

On Saturday, he won from compatriot Lars Heggen while Austrian Benjamin Moser was third for a second career podium.

Svahn topped the women's race from Norway's Kristine Stavås Skistad and Swiss Nadine Faehndrich.

In other Nordic action, Slovenian brother and sister Domen and Nika Prevc underlined their ski jumping World Cup supremacy after not fully perfect Olympics.

Domen Prevc held off a quartet of jumpers from hosts Austria for victory on the massive Kulm flying hill for a 12th victory of the season and 23rd overall.

Placed second behind Austrian Stephan Embacher with 213.5 metres, he added a competition best 228.5m in the second for victory. Embacher trailed by the fraction of 1.1 points with 223m and 219.5m.

Jonas Schuster got his first career podium in third in Bad Mitterndorf, ahead of team-mates Daniel Tschofenig, who rose from 13th to fourth, and Maximilian Ortner.

Prevc has dominated the season in which he won the Four Hills Tour, the ski flying world title as well as large hill and mixed team gold at the Milan/Cortina Winter Games which ended last week.

Sister Nika missed an individual gold in Italy as she had to be content with normal hill silver and large hill bronze but she returned to the top of the podium at the Austrian venue of Hinzenbach.

Prevc soared 89m in both rounds to deny Austrian Lisa Eder, who recorded 89m and 89.5m, by 3.0 points for a 14th season and 35th career success. Double Olympic champion Anna Odine Strøm of Norway was third.

The jumpers have another competition each in Bad Mitterndorf and Hinzenbach on Sunday when skiathlon races are on for the cross country skiers in Falun.
