For the first time since the Second World War, a U.S. submarine has sent an Iranian warship to the bottom of the sea off the coast of Sri Lanka.

Officials in the Indian Ocean island nation have confirmed at least 87 Iranian sailors were killed in the clash while another 60 remain missing.

Shocking footage from the U.S. Navy sub shows the moment of impact.

“Yesterday, in the Indian Ocean, an American submarine sunk an Iranian warship that thought it was safe in international waters. Instead, it was sunk by a torpedo – a quiet death. The first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since World War Two,” Pete Hegseth said.

Ship sunk off coast of Sri Lanka

The attack that sank the IRIS Dena occurred about 40 km south of Sri Lanka. Thirty-two sailors were rescued.

The Dena was returning from exercises in the Indian Ocean.

Meanwhile, an Iranian missile heading towards Turkey was blown out of the sky by NATO as violence from the U.S.-Israel war with Iran spreads beyond the Middle East.

In addition, Israel has vowed that Iran’s next tyrant-in-chief or supreme leader would meet the same fate as the recently obliterated Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who was killed on Saturday . Khameini’s funeral in Tehran that was slated for Wednesday has been postponed amid new airstrikes in the capital.

Overnight, Iranian drones attacked the U.S. consulate in Dubai, causing it to catch fire, while a missile also struck America’s largest military base in Qatar.

REVOLUTIONARY GUARD FEARS

British intelligence sources are warning that Iran has triggered deadly sleeper agents inside the U.K. The terrors in Tehran are using cyber warriors to unleash mayhem.

Following the air attacks on Tehran and the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, there are fears that Islamic Republic linked “hacktivists” have already been unleashed. Dr. Andreas Krieg, a leading security professor at King’s College London, warned it’s “plausible” that individuals with ties to the Basij – Iran’s notorious paramilitary militia – could be operating on U.K. soil.

It is expected they will stalk, and in some instances kill, dissidents and activists and attempt to cause as much digital chaos as possible.

“Periods of heightened confrontation create incentives for Tehran to demonstrate reach,” Krieg told the Daily Mail . “A leadership shake-up can trigger riskier signalling if decision-makers feel threatened.”

IRAN’S EVIL CRUISE THREATS

Iran has trapped thousands of tourists on cruise ships at Persian Gulf ports. The theocracy is currently blockading the Strait of Hormuz, leaving passengers and other visitors desperate to escape the region.

Making matters worse is that they can’t leave the giant floating hotels. Iran has vowed to “burn every ship” attempting to pass through the strait.

Airlines are now trying to remove as many people as possible in a succession of emergency flights.

“Many passengers, including many families with children, are starting to lose their composure,” one traveller told the German newspaper Bild . “Nobody knows how or when we will get out of here.”

In addition, there are fears over how long the cruise ships – there are at least six at a standstill – will be able to provide basic services such as food and water.

CLERIC ISSUES FATWAH

It’s been a while since someone has issued a fatwa, but an enraged Iranian cleric has done so.

Mad mullah Nasser Makarem Shirazi wants Muslims to avenge the “blood of the martyr” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in air raids on Saturday.

Now, Shirazi has delivered the formal religious decree demanding that all Muslims are obliged to avenge the departed Ayatollah. Israel and the U.S. were the “main perpetrators of this crime.” A fatwa is an Islamic edict issued by “religious” authorities.

Counter terrorism expert Ghaffar Hussain told the Mail that murders and terror attacks were likely.

IRGC hunts dissidents

“Iran has a long history of exporting terrorism around the world and a track record of targeting dissidents and journalists in the U.K.,” Hussain said. “This is a very real threat that has been heightened since the outbreak of the war and the one the security services must remain vigilant to.”

In 2018, France uncovered an Iranian bomb plot set to be carried out at a Paris rally for Iranian opposition figures that was attended by 100,000 Iranians and hundreds of international dignitaries. That same year, Denmark accused Iranian intelligence of trying to assassinate an opposition figure on its soil.

And In 2012, Indian police concluded that Iranian agents were responsible for a bombing attack that targeted an Israeli diplomat in New Delhi, which wounded at least four people.
