Trent McDuffie wasn’t the only star on the Los Angeles Rams’ radar this offseason. It appears they also considered making a move for a three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver.

According to The Athletic, the Rams discussed trading for Eagles wideout A.J. Brown but have since moved on. Philadelphia’s asking price for Brown is steep and seemingly too high for the Rams’ liking, but other teams remain in the mix. The Chargers and Patriots have both inquired about Brown and remain possible suitors.

The Eagles don’t seem intent on trading their top receiver but after a tough 2025 season where he grew frustrated with Philadelphia’s offense, it's possible the two sides will be headed for a split.

The Rams already have Puka Nacua and Davante Adams signed through 2026, so they will be the top two receivers again. But with this report about their interest in Brown, there's a good chance the Rams will try to add another wideout before the season begins.

Look for Los Angeles to potentially address the position in the draft, or perhaps even in free agency.
