Several New York Giants beat writers had been reporting the team had interest. ESPN's Jordan Raanan is reporting that Big Blue came in with an offer to Walker before he settled on the Chiefs.
My understanding is the Giants put in an offer, per source. https://t.co/dvTq4lx0f7

It's no secret that the Giants want to beef up their backfield this offseason and took a small measure last week by restructuring the contract of veteran Devin Singletary.
With a backfield that already consists of Singletary, Cam Skattebo, and Tyrone Trac, Jr., the addition of a big-ticket free agent such as Walker would seem like overkill with so many other needs on the roster and just $21 million in cap room to work with.
