4 teams snubbed from the NCAA women's tournament (including BYU!)

· Yahoo Sports

With at least four teams on the NCAA women's tournament bubble, the Big 12 was almost guaranteed to leave Selection Sunday with a few disappointed members. That's exactly what happened, as at least four conference bubble teams -- BYU, Utah, Kansas and Kansas State -- ended up outside the tournament field.

BYU stood out as the biggest snub, as the first team out of the tournament after a 22-11 season. With a top-60 net rating, it's hard to argue the Cougars weren't one of the best 68 teams in the country. And a five-game winning streak before a second-round loss in the conference tournament helped their case, but not enough to stop BYU from being one of this year's biggest snubs.
