This offseason, the San Francisco 49ers are changing up their wide receiver room in a big way. They've already signed Mike Evans and Christian Kirk, and could be making more moves in the WR room.
But it's not just about the players coming into the roster; the 49ers are also losing a few key players. Brandon Aiyuk might be cut or traded, while Kendrick Bourne was left in free agency on a two-year deal. Bourne isn't the only WR the 49ers sent to free agency.
With a quiet free agent market, 49ers veteran WR Jauan Jennings has yet to sign with a team this offseason. With such a market, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report linked Jennings to two teams, the Tennessee Titans and the Las Vegas Raiders.
49ers' Jauan Jennings linked to Titans and Raiders
"Teams with young quarterbacks like the Titans and Las Vegas Raiders - who are expected to take Indiana's Fernando Mendoza first overall next month - should be near the front of the line," Knox writes.
While Jennings is still sitting in free agency alongside Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill, he's likely to be cheaper than both of those free agents and also more of a stable presence in the offense as well.
Last season for the 49ers in 15 games, Jennings had 643 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 55 receptions. While he has not put up 1,000 yards in a season yet in his career, his production is more than good enough for a team to sign him.
But, with his contract demands likely being greater than $10 million per-year, which is a reasonable ask, teams interested in him are more likely to be organizations with rookie or cheap quarterbacks under contract.

That's why the Titans, who took Cam Ward in the 2025 NFL Draft, and the Raiders, who are likely to take Fernando Mendoza with the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, are linked to Jennings this offseason.
While teams with limited cap space, thanks to big quarterback contracts, might be out on Jennings, there should be some interest in the 49ers WR from teams like the Titans and Raiders.
Jennings will find a landing spot this offseason, and the teams Knox linked to the former 49ers WR make a lot of sense as possible destinations for the 28-year-old WR this offseason.
