The Boston Celtics hopes of making a deep playoff run have been bolstered by the return of superstar forward Jayson Tatum, who has missed the majority of the season recovering from a torn Achilles tendon he suffered in last year's playoffs. After a long and arduous rehab process, though, Tatum has returned, and he's looked capable of helping the C's shock the NBA in the postseason this year.

After suffering his aforementioned injury, Tatum grinded behind the scenes to get himself healthy as quickly as possible. Perhaps the person who saw this process the most was his son, Deuce, who can frequently be seen attending games at TD Garden. With Jayson receiving a cover story from SLAM Magazine, Deuce penned a heartfelt message to his father that will surely catch Celtics fans' attention.

"I’m proud of my dad," Deuce said as part of his message to his dad. "But I’m also so happy for my dad that he’s winning games now that he’s playing, and that he can keep winning games so he can get ourselves to the championship."

Deuce has grown alongside Jayson during his rise to stardom in the NBA with the Celtics. While Jayson has supported Deuce throughout his childhood, the roles were briefly reversed when Deuce and the rest of Jayson's family had to support him as he worked his way back to full health.

Now, the Tatums can frequently be seen at TD Garden, where Jayson has continued to dust off the cobwebs as he gets reacclimated to the game of basketball. After suffering an ugly loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night, Boston will look to get back in the win column when it squares off against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
