Video of Apache choppers at Kid Rock's house triggers Army investigation

The U.S. Army said it was investigating after social media posts on musician Kid Rock’s X timeline showed Apache attack helicopters flying over his Tennessee house.

Kid Rock, an avid Trump supporter, posted the videos on X with the caption: “This is a level of respect that s— for brains Governor of California will never know,” referring to California’s Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom. “God Bless America and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend her.”

NBC News said a spokesperson for the 101 Airborne Division at Fort Capmbell, Ky., said the helicopters were following a training route that took them though the Nashville area, and added their presence was “entirely coincidental” to a “No Kings” anti-Trump protest nearby.

The Army also said it is aware of the videos, which showed the AH-64 Apaches flying over Kid Rock’s hilltop home that he calls “The Southern White House,” and are now investigating.

Feud with Newsom

Kid Rock and Newsom have locked horns before on social media, with the California governor jokingly banning the rocker from his state in a recent social media post that lampoons U.S. President Donald Trump’s bombastic online style.

“I HAVE SEEN ENOUGH. AS GOVERNOR OF THE FREE WORLD, I, GAVIN C. NEWSOM, AM OFFICIALLY BANNING “KID ROCK” FROM CALIFORNIA,” Newsom posted from his press office account. “HIS SHIRTLESS VIDEO WITH “SECRETARY BRAINWORM” WAS INAPPROPRIATE, CREEPY, AND VERY LOW ENERGY. NOT WHAT YOU WANT AROUND OUR CHILDREN! ALSO, SOME OF THE WEAKEST PUSHUPS EVER WITNESSED. CALIFORNIA ONLY ALLOWS WINNERS! I AM ALSO BANNING WORKING OUT IN JEANS, VERY STRANGE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! — GOVERNOR GCN.”
