Titans to have joint practice with Panthers in 2026

The Tennessee Titans will see the Carolina Panthers on the field prior to the start of the 2026 NFL season.

According to ESPN’s Turron Davenport,Titans coach Robert Saleh said at the NFL’s annual league meeting that Tennessee will hold joint practice with the Panthers, while he also desires to have two other joint practices, each with different teams.

The Titans could see multiple looks against other teams in simulated game action if Saleh’s desires are met. Tennessee has new-look units on offense and defense following an active offseason of moves in free agency and the trade market.

Wan’Dale Robinson gives Tennessee a 1,000-yard receiver out of the slot that they did not have last season. John Franklin-Myers elevates the Titans’ pass rush on paper. Jermaine Johnson has the potential to excel on the field, while the Titans’ new cornerback room of Cor’Dale Flott as well as Alontae Taylor are expected to contain opposing passing attacks.

The Panthers are the first team that the Titans are in line to face in a joint practice. Carolina won the NFC South in 2025, finishing the year with an 8-9 record.

The Titans held two joint practices in the 2025 preseason against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as well as the Atlanta Falcons.
