Falcons unveil new uniforms and people aren’t happy
· Yahoo Sports
We knew the Atlanta Falcons were going to be reworking their uniforms for 2026, and all signs pointed to the team returning to its roots by dropping the messy half-step that was their “ATL” uniforms of 2022. Now the waiting is over, with the team releasing its new design — complete with a perfectly narrated video by Andre 3000, but the uniforms themselves are far from ideal.
While the Falcons were the first to dominate this colorway, it’s a bit of a mess in 2026. Without the helmets these uniforms are almost indistinguishable from the Houston Texans or Arizona Cardinals, both of whom have come to use predominantly red and white uniforms as either their primary, or alternates.

The white pants lack the strong black piping that was emblematic of the original uniforms, there are no black jerseys, the silver pants of the 90s are nowhere to be seen, and the coveted return to red helmets aren’t here either. While it’s possible we could see these as alternates, not having them as part of the reveal is a letdown — and that’s led to a lot of fans being upset.
As a big fan, you blew it again. SMH we did nothing to bring the past into this uniform. No stripes in the jersey and no silver pants is a huge miss. Almost like you didn’t hear the fans at all.

It’s amazing how many times the team can mess this up and not listen to the fans.

This is the most underwhelming announcement… YOU HAD ONE JOB! We look like the f****** Arizona Texans in these

What a huge let down!! Please fire whoever makes the uniform design decisions!

And how do we manage to mess up the jerseys again ☠️

It’s extremely bizarre that the Falcons just keep on trying to rework their uniforms but keep managing to make their fans unhappy. At least it’s on brand with how much disappointment the Falcons cause on the field.
