It’s yet another record for Yamal’s growing collection and comes on a day when Barcelona will be hoping to move nine points clear of rivals Real Madrid at the top of the table.
Yamal will also be hoping he can add to his tally of 14 goals and nine appearances in La Liga so far this season.
Barcelona boast an excellent record against Espanyol and are unbeaten in their last 29 LaLiga matches against their local rivals.
