All 15 SEC softball teams, including OU and Texas, are wearing teal Saturday for the sixth annual "All for Alex" weekend to honor the legacy of former Mississippi State player Alex Wilcox.
Wilcox was a member of the 2018 Mississippi State softball team who inspired the nation with her fight against ovarian cancer. Wilcox, who played in eight games as a freshman with the Bulldogs, was just 18 when she died later that summer.

Former OU softball star Samantha Ricketts was the associate head coach at MSU that season. She took over as head coach for the 2019 season.
LSU coach Beth Torina and Ricketts led the charge for the league to honor Wilcox at the SEC coaches' meeting in the fall of 2019.
Mississippi State retired Wilcox's No. 8 jersey.
