Detroit Lions NFL Draft Injury Report: Indiana Safety Louis Moore

· Yahoo Sports

The Lions have a need at the safety position for the 2026 NFL Draft due to health concerns. The position scored a 6/10 need on my Lions Defensive Positional Need Rankings. Louis Moore is a mid-late round prospect whose moderate medical concern level might be a bit too high for the Lions.

Here is the excerpt from my Louis Moore Medical Report:

Louis Moore, S (25) - Indiana

Projected round 5-7. Matt Miller’s #278 overall player.

Concern level 5/10

Moore spent three years at JUCO which explains his advanced age. His remote ACL isn’t much of a concern at this point as long as there wasn’t associated cartilage damage. He dealt with multiple vague injuries in 2024 which will need vetting, but was fully reliable in 2025.

Moore finished with 9 INT and 6 PBU in college.
