Alabama forward Amari Allen reveals official NBA draft decision

Alabama Crimson Tide forward Amari Allen has officially declared for the 2026 NBA draft, while also maintaining his collegiate eligibility.

Allen made the announcement Sunday night via social media, and joins Labaron Philon as Crimson Tide players who have declared for the 2026 NBA draft so far this offseason.

A member of Alabama's 2025 class, Allen was one of the Crimson Tide's most impactful players during the 2025-26 season, starting 24-of-32 games. Allen averaged 11.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game while shooting 44.6% from the field, as well as 34.1% from three.

The forward also shot 73.8% from the free throw line, and was named a SEC All-Freshman selection.

Allen will have until May 27 to make an official decision as to if he will remain in the NBA draft, or return to Alabama next season.
