And there's a chance that they could replace him with Andre Iguodala.
Those chances combined, though, are not particularly high.
This tweet is going around that makes it seem like Iguodala is one of the top-tier candidates to replace Kerr:
Andre Iguodala and Mike Brown are names to watch as potential replacements if Steve Kerr decides to walk away from the Golden State Warriors, per @timkawakami

But the story from Tim Kawakami that is referenced actually has Kawakami called Iguodala "my outside-the-envelope candidate."
"Well-regarded current assistants who could fit that model: Micah Nori (Minnesota), Chris Quinn (Miami), Sean Sweeney (San Antonio), and Johnnie Bryant (Cleveland)," writes Kawakami in the SF Standard. "Other names, some more realistic than others: Current defensive coordinator Jerry Stackhouse, current offensive coordinator Terry Stotts, Boston assistant Sam Cassel, TV analyst Brent Barry, and my outside-the-envelope candidate … Andre Iguodala."
It's not even a given that Kerr leaves. And if he does, Iguodala is quite far down that list.
To be fair, when an outside-the-box candidate like Iggy starts to trend in a situation like this, there are instances where he could quickly move up the ranks of potential candidates.
But until that actually starts to happen, and that's a big 'if,' Warriors fans don't need to be too excited about potentially seeing Iguodala leading them from the sideline. It's a long shot at the moment.
