The Georgia Bulldogs have landed a commitment from former St. Bonaventure Bonnies center Andrew Osasuyi. Osasuyi serves as a massive addition for the Dawgs after the departure of big man Somto Cyril, as Georgia continues to reload in the portal with the addition of Osasuyi.

At 6-foot-9, 205 pounds, Osasuyi is an extremely talented center that should make an instant impact in Athens. The former St. Bonaventure big man averaged 3.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.2 assists across 11.9 minutes per game in the 2025-26 season, as Osauyi will more than likely see an increase in playing time next year. Osauyi originally signed with the Bonnies after coming to the United States from Magenta, Italy, as the talented sophomore has three years of eligibility left. Osasuyi helped Italy win a 2025 FIBA U20 EuroBasket gold medal.
The Bonnies transfer will look to dominate on both ends of the floor at Georgia. Osauyi serves as Georgia’s fourth transfer portal addition made this offseason. Osauyi drew serious interest from a multitude of programs prior to his Georgia commitment.
The former St. Bonaventure center was elite on the defensive end of the floor, as Osauyi recorded an impressive 1.7 blocks per game across 33 total appearances during his only season with the Bonnies. He projects to be one of Georgia's top rim protectors next season.
Georgia continues to reload in the transfer portal this offseason following the departure of numerous key playmakers. The Bulldogs recently signed former Penn State guard Freddie Dilione, while former Saint Louis forward Brady Dunlap has committed to Georgia too.
