LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers were not deemed as favorites in their first round series against the Houston Rockets. However, LeBron continues to prove everyone wrong with his consistent excellence.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick is pleased to see LeBron's continued brilliance. Now, the Lakers are 3-0 up against the Rockets, which is another reason why LeBron is cemented as an all-time great.
JJ Redick continues to appreciate LeBron James' elite longevity
LeBron is already one of the best players in the league's history, but at 41, most people expect him to slow down at some point. Unfortunately for the Lakers' opponents, LeBron is still one of the most impressive playmakers in the league.
Not only is he serving as the Lakers' best playmaker, but he is also still a scoring threat. With his leadership, the Lakers have gone from heavy underdogs to utterly dominating the matchup.

As the head coach, Redick has his eyes on LeBron all the time. However, he never fails to appreciate the King for his constant excellence, not only this season, but throughout his lengthy career.
"I always appreciate and don't take for granted what he's able to do. I guess I've known him for 26 years, and I've watched him play for 26 years. We met when we were both about 15 or 16 years old. Always enjoy it," Redick said after the Game 3 win against Houston.
Now, LeBron continues to succeed, and everyone seems to appreciate it more. He is constantly showing that he still belongs, even if he is getting tired pretty fast now compared to his physical prime.
