2026 NFL Draft: CBS Sports names Bills' top pick in class

The Buffalo Bills' 2026 NFL Draft class earned a middle-of-the-pack grade from CBS Sports.

The Bills started the draft off with some headlines, three to be exact. Buffalo general manager Brandon Beane decided to make numerous trades throughout the draft, but most notably, he moved back three times in Round 1 and entirely out of the first round in the end.

The Bills' top selection was edge defender TJ Parker and Buffalo ended up picking 10 players throughout the three-day event.

However, without a first-round pick, the Bills are not getting many top post-draft grades and that's the case with CBS Sports. Buffalo earned a B-minus mark, which was below 12 other NFL teams with higher grades.

In terms of the AFC East, the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins were two of only three teams to earn an overall mark of A. The New England Patriots (C-) had the lowest divisional grade.

CBS Sports' full breakdown can be found below:

Buffalo Bills: B-

Best Pick: Fourth-round receiver Skyler Bell isn't a big receiver, but he can get separation and should push for time as a rookie. He did have some trouble with drops, but he's a good player.

Worst Pick: This is based on personal preference, but I would have taken R Mason Thomas over T.J. Parker, who the Bills took in the second. He fits better in my book.

The Skinny: The Bills traded down a few times -- out of the first even -- and added extra picks. I like the strategy. Taking Parker fills a pass-rushing need, and second-round corner Davison Igbinosun won't start right away, but he eventually will. Bell was also a good pick.
