Trey Haddad of Cleveland, Ohio revealed his top five schools list on Sunday, with the Spartans making the cut. Michigan State was joined on Haddad's top schools list list by Kansas, West Virginia, Miami (OH) and Buffalo.
Haddad is listed at 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, and plays for St. Ignatius, according to 247Sports. He holds a recruiting rating of 81.67 and is listed as a three-star prospect in On3's Rivals recruiting system. He is ranked as the No. 182 wide receiver prospect in the class.
Michigan State extended an offer to Haddad back in September after he visited the school for their overtime win over Boston College. According to 247Sports, he also holds notable offers from Kansas, Louisville, West Virginia, Texas A&M, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Miami (OH), Central Michigan and Western Michigan.
At this time, Haddad doesn't have any listed official visits on his calendar, but that could be changing as I'd assume Michigan State would want him to visit this summer if they're still actively pursuing his recruitment. We will have to wait and see over the next few weeks if an official visit is scheduled and he comes back to the Spartans' campus during a vital recruiting period.
