The NFL has officially announced the schedule for the 2026 NFL regular season. Which is the game on the Jets’ schedule that you find the most intriguing?

I think these are the top contenders.

Week 1 at Tennessee Titans: This game has two central elements to make it a contender. First, it is the regular season opener. That alone makes it a marquee game on the schedule. It also will be the debut of Robert Saleh as Titans head coach, and it comes again a Jets team he coached for three years and change. I’ll be honest. I don’t find the Jets facing Saleh all that compelling personally, but I’m sure others will.

Week 2 vs. Green Bay Packers: This is the home opener for the Jets. The crowd will surely be electric at least for this game. It comes against a Packers team that figures to be decent. However, Green Bay could be without All Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons. Could this help the Jets steal a game?

Week 3 at Detroit Lions: This one has the reverse storyline of Week 1. This time it’s the Jets head coach Aaron Glenn facing his former team.

Week 6 at New England Patriots: This is the first of two regular season games the Jets will play against their bitter rivals. New England surprised the league with a Super Bowl run a year ago. Many Jets fans would choose to beat New England over a win against any of the other 30 teams in the league.

Week 8 vs. Las Vegas Raiders: The Jets will face the top pick in the NFL Draft and a player many fans coveted in the process, Fernando Mendoza.

Week 9 at Kansas City Chiefs: It’s the Jets vs. Patrick Mahomes, their shot to take on the best.

Week 10 vs. Buffalo Bills: Last season’s trip to the Super Bowl notwithstanding, the Bills have been the dominant team in the AFC East over the last decade. Buffalo blew the Jets out twice last season, but aside from that Week 2 game the Jets have been surprisingly competitive against the Bills at MetLife Stadium in recent years.

Which game are you looking forward to most, or it is a game I haven’t listed that intrigues you?
