Roma shift focus on Verona’s Sogliano as Massara replacement

The conundrum surrounding Roma’s next sporting director may soon be resolved.

The selection process will likely focus on an Italian, fully aligned with Gian Piero Gasperini’s footballing philosophy.

According to Retesport, Sean Sogliano, the current Hellas Verona director, has been gaining traction in recent days.

Sogliano has not yet renewed his contract with the Veneto club and could therefore leave the Bentegodi after many years, making what could be considered a “big leap” to a more prominent club.

The relationship between Sogliano and Gasperini is deeply rooted in the past.
