WTA World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has yet to take the court at the 2026 French Open. However, her Roland Garros Nike tennis kit has already been spotted on Russian Oksana Selekhmeteva.

Earlier this month, Nike earned rare rave reviews for Sabalenka’s Roland Garros kit which she revealed on social media.

Fans loved its two-toned red and black look and falsely assumed she would be the only player wearing it in Paris this year.

Selekhmeteva already wore it. Who else will?

We were so wowed by Sabalenka’s look that we forgot she told us late last year that she will have no custom Nike kits in 2026. That is hopefully happening in 2027.

Selekhmeteva lost in straight sets to Marta Kostyuk, but it makes us wonder who else will wear it. Other WTA Nike athletes in action at Roland Garros include Amanda Anisimova, Mirra Andreeva, Madison Keys, Hailey Baptiste, and Alexandra Eala. Keys and Baptiste are inclined to wear shorts, but the others could sport the reddish black kit.

We know that Naomi Osaka will have her own custom kit and would not divulge any details about it in her pretournament press conference. She admitted that she is a quiet person and uses fashion (colors and patterns) to express herself.

Red is the hot color

Speaking of red kits, former Nike turned UNIQLO ambassador Emma Raducanu showed off her kit, and it is also red.

I guess red clay is bringing out the red in everyone this year.
