Kit leak: Bayern Munich to release sleek 2026/27 away kit
· Yahoo Sports
Bayern Munich and Adidas’s partnership has produced a mix bag of away kits in recent memory. The 2018/19 away kit featured an experimental mint green, while the black and gold 2021/22 second kit represented a safer choice. Adidas even produced a yellow and green away kit in the 1993/94 and 1994/95 season — two colors that shared no association with Bayern.

The kit leak has been met with mixed reviews. Some fans noticed that Adidas’s away kits have been “copy pasted” across different clubs, whereas others are admirers of the sleek, retro design.
Besides featuring navy blue in an away kit for the first time since the 2017/18 season, the biggest change is the choice of a traditional collar.
It’s impossible to please everyone when it comes to kit design, but the classic, minimalist look is sure to please the majority of the fan base as opposed to opting for something more controversial, which almost always ends up a hit or miss.
What do you think of Bayern’s new away kit? Were you hoping to see something a little bit more exciting, or are you a fan of the retro look?
