Angel Reese has wasted no time in proving that she’s a good fit to the Atlanta Dream. They are off to a strong start this WNBA season with an 8-3 record, two months after the team traded for her from the Chicago Sky.

The two-time All-Star center recorded another double-double on Tuesday. She torched her former team with 17 points and 17 rebounds, along with four assists and two steals. It was the 57th double-double of her career, tying Blake Griffin for second-most through 75 games both in the WNBA and NBA.

Reese’s feat is second to Shaquille O’Neal’s 75, which he recorded in his rookie year in the 1992-93 season. He entered the NBA as one of the most anticipated collegiate prospects in history. His rare combination of size and athleticism was unheard of at the time.

Reese and O’Neal have a good relationship. The Los Angeles Lakers legend has expressed his support for the third-year center several times.
