According to Aaron Boone, the slugging DH “felt a little something’’ in his rehabbing right calf during his last workout at Yankee Stadium.

“I expected him back early in this (upcoming) homestand. That’s in jeopardy now,’’ the Yankees manager said prior to Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.

On the injured list retroactive to Apri 25, Stanton might get more imaging on his calf, but he’s not completely shut down from activity.

Stanton had recently progressed to running the bases. He was also taking outdoor batting practice and hitting against live pitching.

Earlier Saturday, the Yankees placed center fielder Trent Grisham (right hamstring strain) on the 10-day IL and returned Jasson Dominguez from his minor league rehab assignment (left shoulder strain).

Dominguez started in right field for the Yankees on Saturday, with Spencer Jones in center field and Cody Bellinger remaining in left.

Grisham is scheduled to undergo tests in New York on Monday, but the Yankees are hopeful that "it's not going to be a long-term thing,'' said Boone. "But the 10 days was probably necessary.''
