Ben Roethlisberger proclaims Ravens Super Bowl window is closed
· Yahoo Sports
Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger made a living out of beating the Baltimore Ravens for nearly two decades.
In his career, the two-time Super Bowl champion went 17-10 against the Ravens, including a 2-1 record in the playoffs, one of which came in the 2008-09 AFC Championship Game. And on the latest episode of his podcast, Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger, the future Hall of Fame quarterback said that he believes the Ravens’ best days are behind them.

“I think they’re falling apart,” Roethlisberger said. “I don’t think they’re the same team.”
Roethlisberger took it a step further to say that he doesn’t believe that Baltimore’s championship window is open anymore.
“[I] feel like their window closed,” Roethlisberger said. “To me, losing Harbaugh, King Henry’s a year older, his body’s taking a beating. What was going on with Lamar last year? He just didn’t seem like the Lamar that we’ve been used to seeing.”
The Ravens missed the postseason in 2025 after the Steelers defeated them in the final game of the regular season, an instant classic that saw Aaron Rodgers throw the game-winning touchdown to Calvin Austin and Ravens kicker Tyler Loop miss the potential game-winner to clinch the division for Pittsburgh.
Additionally, the Ravens are a mere 3-5 in playoff games in which Lamar Jackson starts. While they are oft-mentioned as Super Bowl contenders, their play never seems to back those claims up in January.
The Steelers and Ravens will once again face one another twice in the final month of the season, with the two matchups taking place in Week 15 and 18, respectively.
