Canada's Wonderland announces more fireworks nights, new membership program

Canada’s Wonderland has announced it’s hosting a record number of fireworks nights this summer, with five coming up in July alone, plus a new membership program where guests can pay a low monthly fee and get unlimited access to the park all year long.

The expanded fireworks lineup in July includes four newly added Saturday evening shows – plus dazzling displays on the Civic Holiday and Labour Day long weekends.
“This year we’re hosting a record number of fireworks nights, giving guests more opportunity to experience one of our most memorable traditions,” Christopher Mortensen, park president, said in a statement.
“From our attractions to events and entertainment, there’s always something new to experience at Canada’s Wonderland and we hope every guest leaves already looking forward to their next visit.”
This year’s summer events and entertainment lineup includes 10 p.m. fireworks shows on July 1, 4, 11, 18, 25, Aug. 2 and Sept. 6. and will feature more than 6,000 colourful fireworks soaring more than 800 feet in the air and choreographed to an original soundtrack created exclusively for Canada’s Wonderland.
New membership program
Meanwhile, the new membership program is now offering a low monthly payment option.
For $9 a month plus an initial processing fee up to $9.99 and applicable taxes that can only be ordered online, guests can purchase a Gold Membership and enjoy all the benefits of a traditional Gold Pass, including unlimited visits through four seasons of fun – from Splash Works in the summer to Halloween Haunt and WinterFest.
A park spokesperson said, unlike seasonal passes that expire, memberships remain active until cancelled, eliminating the need to renew each year. This allows guests the flexibility to visit whenever they choose.
The pass also gives members access to Six Flags parks in the Midwest Region – including Cedar Point, Kings Island and Six Flags Darien Lake, exclusive discounts on food, beverages and merchandise, and bring-a-friend offers, seasonal promotions, loyalty rewards and other exclusive benefits.
