The Norway striker met rapper Travis Scott in the United States and handed the Grammy-nominated artist a signed Norway shirt. Haaland shared a photo of the pair with his followers on X on Sunday.
It rounds off a memorable stretch in the host nation for Haaland, who has thrown himself into American sport and culture between games.
On the pitch he has been one of the tournament’s standout names, scoring four goals before manager Stale Solbakken made the surprise call to rest him for Norway’s final group match.

Haaland marked the meeting with a single headphones emoji on his post — a nod to Scott, the rapper behind hits including “Sicko Mode.”
It is the latest sign of the Manchester City forward enjoying life in the States. He recently took in an NHL game as well.
Not every celebrity moment has gone so smoothly across the pond, though. Haaland ignored a dinner invite from actor Tom Holland at the Formula 1 in Monaco, later admitting he had no idea who the Spider-Man star was.
Why Stale Solbakken rested Erling Haaland against France
The gift came days after Solbakken made waves with his selection decisions for Norway’s final group game. With his side already through to the knockout rounds, the coach made 10 changes and left Haaland out of the starting XI for the first time since 2024.
France punished the rotation, running out 4-1 winners as Ousmane Dembele helped himself to a first-half hat-trick. Solbakken had no regrets about the call.
Asked why he rested so many, he said (via BBC Sport): “A no-brainer. Both my part and from the physio, health and medical department, and from some of the players themselves. The only consideration was for the Norway fans. They would have wanted to see Erling and Martin [Odegaard] play.”
The coach pointed to fatigue after a draining win over Senegal, adding that five or six players were heavily affected after 80 minutes in that game.
Haaland had already played down the France fixture. Speaking after Norway qualified, he said: “I couldn’t care too much about that game now. They’re probably going to win against us. They’re probably going to win the whole tournament.”
Haaland has scored in each of Norway’s last 12 competitive matches and now has 59 goals in 52 games for his country before the France game — the best rate of any player with more than 50 international goals in the past century.
His four goals leave him level with Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr. and Ousmane Dembele, and two behind leader Lionel Messi in the Golden Boot race.
Attention now turns to the knockout stage. Norway face Ivory Coast in the round of 32 on June 30th in Arlington, Texas, hoping to match the round-of-16 run that remains their best World Cup showing, set back in 1998.
Go further than that, and Haaland enters historic territory for a debut campaign.
