· Yahoo Sports
Reaction was swift and mixed after news broke on Sunday, June 28, that the Phoenix Suns were trading Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale for Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets.
The deal, which also includes an exchange of future draft picks between the teams, was first reported by ESPN's Shams Charania. The Republic's Duane Rankin confirmed the deal as well.

On social media, many Suns fans and analysts suggested Bridges would help bolster an area of need for Phoenix by adding more front-line strength. Others questioned whether Bridges' skillset was any different from those already in the Phoenix lineup.
Still others questioned why Phoenix would acquire a player who was involved in a domestic violence incident with the mother of his children, which resulted in a 2023 suspension by the NBA.

So the suns have Dillon Brooks, Book, Jalen Green, and Bridges… 4 ball handlers who really have the same skillset besides Brooks who’s more of a 3 and D guy. They starting 5 gonna be the same player at 5 different heights
