The Boston Celtics reportedly made Jaylen Brown available in trade talks for Giannis Antetokounmpo, and he may not be too happy with the team now.

The risk for the Celtics getting involved in the Antetokounmpo sweepstakes was always the fallout. What was going to happen if they didn't win? They ran the risk of upsetting Brown because there was no way to keep his involvement in discussions a secret.
Even if they could, widespread speculation and common sense would still have his name in rumors. There was no way the Celtics could trade for Antetokounmpo without giving up Brown or Jayson Tatum, and Tatum was not going anywhere. Well, in the aftermath of Antetokounmpo going to Miami, the Celtics have been receiving calls on Brown from other teams, and he could reportedly still be dealt.
Lost in all of this is how Brown actually feels. Brad Stevens expressed confidence, on June 23, in Brown and Tatum's ability to still win a championship, but also left the door open for a trade. Brown recently took a trip to France for Cannes Sports Beach, and according to Bill Simmons, he is not too happy with the team.
"The word on the street on Jaylen in France, and I know multiple people who were in his vicinity, is that he was acting like he's done in Boston, and that this is it. I don't think he's very happy with this," Simmons said on Monday on the "Bill Simmons Podcast."
Brown has won a championship with Boston and is coming off his best season. He is extension-eligible and has three more seasons on his deal. It's not a shock that he is upset with trade rumors, considering the Celtics are already in a great position to win with him and Tatum.
