TreVeyon Henderson among 3 biggest AFC East RB fantasy bargains

Running backs frequently make or break fantasy seasons. Drafting one bargain improves playoff odds. Drafting two improves title odds. Here are three of the biggest RB fantasy bargains in the AFC East based on average draft position (ADP).

TreVeyon Henderson tops the list. He has been one of my favorite RB bargains throughout the preseason, largely because of his RB22 ADP. The market assumes he won’t be much better than last year—that Rhamondre Stevenson will continue to play a big role. I disagree. Henderson is set up to take a big step forward, especially given Stevenson’s injury and fumbling history.
Bills backup Ray Davis has huge bargain potential. The 2024 fourth-round pick played better last season than in his rookie campaign. The market expects James Cook to continue dominating, with Ty Johnson mixing in to cap Davis’s seemingly low ceiling. But Cook is a significant injury/regression risk after compiling 385 touches last season (including the playoffs). Davis’s RB58 ADP makes him only barely draftable in deeper leagues. But in reality, the talented backup is a must-snag running back.
Much further down the rankings is Jaylen Wright (RB72 ADP), who begins camp #2 on the depth chart behind De’Von Achane and ahead of Ollie Gordon. Drafted eight spots ahead of Ray Davis in 2024, Wright is bell-cow-ready if Achane misses time, and given Achane’s relatively slight frame and recently heavier usage (305 touches last year), there should be at least some concern that Miami’s #1 offensive playmaker is a bit riskier than the average starting RB. Queue up Wright as a deep-league bargain.
