Jaylin Sellers came out with two blocks, allowing the Bulls' defense to gain momentum. Essengue recorded three rebounds and one block.

Chicago struggled from beyond the arc, missing many open threes, which made it difficult for them to capitalize on their defensive stops. Despite key players from the Jazz being out, including Darryn Peterson and Ace Bailey, Chicago seemed to be falling short, especially when it came to shotmaking.

After Chicago cut the deficit to as little as two points early in the second quarter, Utah finished the half on a run behind Trey Alexander's playmaking.

The Bulls scoring 18 points in the first quarter and 15 in the second, compared to the 22 by the Jazz in the first and 20 in the second.

At the end of the half, the Bulls had 33 points, while the Jazz had 42.

The third quarter began with more fight after halftime, chipping away at Utah's lead behind Donovan Atwell, who sparked the offense by knocking down a pair of threes. Three turnovers occurred within four minutes of the third quarter's begin, one from Wilson, another from Tobe Awaka, and one from Boo Buie.

Shot-making in the third did not seem to improve from the first half. While the Jazz did not outscore the Bulls in tremendous fashion, Chicago continued to miss shots, especially from three. Turnovers and missed free throws were the Achille's heel for them, preventing the Bulls from mounting a larger comeback.

Wilson was taken out of the game for the majority of the third quarter, allowing other plays like Dailyn Swain and Sellers to steer the ship for the Bulls.

Defensively, the Bulls continued to make plays, highlighted by a block by Essengue on Utah's Orlando Robinson. Chicago continued to create possessions, but Utah answered every Bulls run, responding with quick baskets to speed up the game and make Chicago run quite a bit.

Although turnovers plagued the first half and beginning of the second, a poster dunk from Wilson had the building erupting in cheers, which had the energy amplified for the Bulls. The next Bulls' possession, Wilson sunk a three from deep.

Wilson finished with 29 minutes, 19 points, and eight rebounds, followed by Sellers with 13 points in his 32 minutes.

The Bulls face the Washington Wizards tomorrow at 5 PM PT for their third game in the Thomas and Mack Center at Summer League.
