Dates announced for full Missouri basketball 2027 SEC schedule

The Southeastern Conference announced the full slate for the upcoming season for each of its men’s basketball programs on Monday, July 27. Mizzou will open its league campaign on the road at Arkansas on Saturday, Jan. 2, and a little more than two months later Dennis Gates’ team will finish the regular season with a home matchup against LSU on March 6 at Mizzou Arena.
After traveling to face the Razorbacks to begin the new year, Mizzou will play its first home SEC game on Jan. 5 or Jan. 6 against Texas A&M.
Over the course of the 18-game SEC slate, Mizzou also will host Kentucky (Jan. 9), South Carolina (Jan. 16), Alabama (Jan. 26/27), Ole Miss (Jan. 30), Tennessee (Feb. 6), Oklahoma (Feb. 16/17), Arkansas (Feb. 23) and LSU (March 6) in Columbia next year.
MU also will travel to face Tennessee (Jan. 12/13), Oklahoma (Jan. 19/20), Vanderbilt (Jan. 23), Mississippi State (Feb. 2/3), Florida (Feb. 13), Auburn (Feb. 20), Georgia (Feb. 27) and Texas (March 2/3).Tipoff times and TV designations will be announced for the games at a later date.
Missouri has not yet announced its full nonconference slate, although several games have either been confirmed or reported.
Mizzou will play five neutral-site contests over November and December: Saint Louis (Nov. 6 at Enterprise Center); Marquette (Nov. 15 in Chicago); Kansas (Dec. 6 at T-Mobile Center); Nebraska (Dec. 12 at T-Mobile Center); and Illinois (TBD at Enterprise Center).
Gates’ team will host Pittsburgh in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Dec. 1, and the Tigers reportedly are finalizing an agreement to face Indiana on Dec. 18 in Bloomington, Indiana.
