The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up their first week of training camp practices on Saturday, going into an off day Sunday before the pads go on for the first time on Monday.

After their Saturday practice, T.J. Watt sat down with Kyle Brandt of NFL Network and was asked about the biggest differences between a Mike McCarthy training camp and a Mike Tomlin training camp.

“[The] schedule obviously, number one, is just very different,” Watt said. “Everybody here understands we’re practicing at a different time. The practice schedule is very different. We’re not sitting on benches out here anymore – it’s no wasted time.”

Watt had one of the plays of Saturday’s practice, dropping back into coverage on an exotic blitz look and picking off Aaron Rodgers. It’s a big season for the former Defensive Player of the Year who is coming off a season in which he totaled just seven sacks. With a new defensive scheme, the Steelers are hoping Watt can revert back to his old ways and get back to ranking near the top of the NFL in quarterback takedowns.
