Toms River is back in the win column at the Little League Softball World Series after an impressive 13-3 win over Connecticut on Tuesday. After losing to Japan 4-1 in the opener on Sunday and falling into the losers bracket, Toms River responded with their first win by setting a record for runs scored by a Mid-Atlantic team at the LLSWS.
With the win, the Toms River All-Stars have earned the right to a rematch against the Asia Pacific representative from Sangō, Japan on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. as they try to claw out of the losers bracket with three more victories to reach the final.
