Kansas City Chiefs are in the midst of their pre-season preparations as they aim to improve on their 2025/26 season.

The Chiefs missed out on the playoffs last time out, finishing third in the AFC West with a 6-11 record.
But after such a difficult campaign, fans are starting to get a glimpse of how things could improve in the coming months via Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Kelce may be coming towards the end of his career in Kansas, but he still has a good connection with Mahomes, as was shown during recent training camp footage.

The Kansas City Chiefs recently shared a short video of Kelce and Mahomes linking up in training, writing: “These two are automatic” and tagging both.
Now, a number of fans have taken to the comments section of the X/Twitter post to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote: “Love watching that connection!! Happy and grateful for another year of it!!”
Another added: “They are just so effortlessly cool.”
“We are so back,” claimed a third fan, while another commented: “Dynamic duo always spot on…”
A fifth exclaimed: “From the get-go!” Another called the duo: “Icons,” and a seventh said they are: “2 legends!!!!”
After playing their three confirmed pre-season games, the Chiefs’ NFL campaign will kick off against the Denver Broncos on Monday, September 14.
Meetings with the Indianapolis Colts and the Miami Dolphins then round out their schedule for the remainder of that month.
