Hall of Fame speeches always have their fair share of humility and humor, and former New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri emphasized the latter during his time on the podium in Canton, Ohio.

It's no secret that Bill Belichick has quite the age gap with his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. It's been the punchline of many jokes around the football world, with Vinatieri adding his name to the list of jokers.

Vinatieri noticed ahead of time that his old coach would not be present at the Hall of Fame induction, and the NFL's all-time leading scorer capitalized on the opportunity.

During Vinatieri's speech, the former Patriots and Colts kicker took some time to poke fun at his old New England coach. Belichick's girlfriend, a 25-year-old cheerleader, received the short end of the stick when one of the NFL's best legs ever took a jab at her 74-year-old boyfriend.

Here's what Vinatieri said:

Vinatieri poked fun at Belichick's absence at the ceremony by attributing his empty seat to a cheerleading competition for his girlfriend.

"Unfortunately, Bill couldn’t be here right now… it’s because he’s judging his girlfriend’s cheerleading competition," Vinatieri said.

Who is Bill Belichick's girlfriend?

Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was a cheerleader during her time at Bridgewater State University and won a Division III national championship with them in 2021.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Philosophy in May 2022 and graduated from the New England Hair Academy in 2019. She's participated in numerous beauty pageants, an event list that was highlighted by her second-place finish in the 2024 Miss Maine USA pageant.

According to her LinkedIn, Hudson is currently the CEO and Founder of Trouble Cub Enterprises, a business holding company, along with a Chief Operating Officer position at Belichick Productions.

Is Jordon Hudson a cheerleader?

While it's unclear if Hudson is still actively a cheerleader, she did grow up participating in cheerleading competitions.

Along with competing at Bridgewater State University, Hudson joined Code Black, a competitive cheerleading team in Raleigh, N.C., after Belichick started coaching the UNC-Chapel Hill football team at the end of 2025, according to People. She was still taking part in adult cheerleading competitions as recently as winter of 2025.

Belichick and Hudson have an age gap of around 48 to 49 years.

The current UNC football head coach was born on April 16, 1952, making him 74 years old. Hudson, his girlfriend, was born on April 3, 2001, giving her the current age of 25.
