LeBron has had arguably the most chaotic offseason so far, leaving the Lakers for the Philadelphia 76ers. However, he clearly still holds some members of the Lakers in high regard.
LeBron James hangs out with Austin Reaves during offseason
In a video shared by golf YouTuber ‘Bob Does Sports,’ James was at a post-golf lunch with Bob (Robby Berger), Austin Reaves, Bronny James, and Jensen Curtis (channel producer).
The conversation in the video seems focused on the game of golf they just played, although the results were not revealed by anyone.
The notable thing about this meetup is James reconnecting with two former teammates, primarily Reaves, after LeBron’s summer departure to the 76ers and Reaves’ $184.7 million contract extension.
LeBron is obviously in constant contact with his son, Lakers guard Bronny, so his presence here isn’t surprising.

The 2026-27 season will be Reaves’ first in the NBA without LeBron as a teammate, and the same also applies to Bronny. It’ll likely be a refreshing change, but one that’ll require some adjustment to deal with, as LeBron’s locker room influence will be missed.
Reaves is one of the best-known golfers in the NBA, participating in pro-am tournaments in the offseason.
LeBron has made his love for the game clear over recent years, with elite golf courses being on his list of priorities while selecting his destination in free agency.
