Guglielmo Vicario joins Juventus on loan

Juventus have completed the signing of Guglielmo Vicario from Tottenham, bringing the Italian goalkeeper back to Serie A after three years in England.

The 29-year-old joins on a season-long loan until June 2027, with Juventus holding an option to make the move permanent for €8 million. A further €2m could be added depending on performance-related targets.
After coming through Udinese’s academy, he established himself in Serie A during spells with Venezia, Perugia, Cagliari and Empoli before moving to Tottenham in 2023.
He made 117 appearances for Spurs and played a key role in their 2024/25 Europa League triumph, helping the club lift European silverware.
The move gives Juventus another experienced option between the posts after the club had explored several alternatives during the summer, including Emiliano Martínez and Alisson.
Vicario will wear the No.25 shirt in Turin and will now compete with Michele Di Gregorio, Mattia Perin and Carlo Pinsoglio for a starting role under Luciano Spalletti.
