Matt LaFleur press conference

Hear from the Packers' coach before practice:

Injury updates

Edge rushers Dani Dennis-Sutton and Nyjalik Kelly and receiver Bo Melton returned to practice on Wednesday. LaFleur said Dennis-Sutton was recovering from an over-heating episode last week. LaFleur also said there was no setbacks for the players who returned to practice and/or 11-on-11 work on Tuesday, including running back Josh Jacobs, guard Aaron Banks and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave.

Lineup update

The first team offensive line had Aaron Banks at left guard and Jacob Monk at right guard. The Packers also rotated in rookie Jager Burton at right guard.

Pick for Hadden

An impact play from Kamal Hadden, who is getting more snaps in the slot with Javon Bullard out. It appears Hadden is getting a real opportunity to lock down a backup job there.

Connection between McCord and Sturdivant

Kyle McCord is well on his way to winning the QB3 job, while J. Michael Sturdivant keeps making plays in an attempt to win a roster spot at receiver.

Two disruptors to watch

Javon Hargrave is already making his presence known in 11-on-11 work. Brenton Cox continues pushing for a real role at edge rusher to start 2026.

Short practice

Practice was over in 86 minutes. Up next: a preseason game in Denver on Friday night.

Transaction

The Packers officially claimed edge rusher Arden Walker off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings.
