PSG Confirm Departure as Squad Clearout Continues

As expected since Saturday, PSG made official this Tuesday the new departure of its right back Yoram Zague, who joins the Cypriot club Pafos, where a certain David Luiz plays.
Now a week away from the end of the transfer window, PSG made a new move official this Tuesday on the departures side: the loan of Yoram Zague to Pafos FC, the Cypriot club where former Parisian David Luiz plays. As reported in the press last weekend, the 20-year-old right-back is loaned for one season, with a purchase option.

Under a professional contract at PSG until 2028, Yoram Zague is coming off a 2025/2026 season during which he strung together two loans: first one at FC Copenhagen, with whom he played 15 matches, including 5 in the Champions League, then another at KAS Eupen, the Belgian second-division club that now belongs to QSI and with whom he played 8 matches.
Back this summer in Paris and placed with the youth group while waiting to find a new club, Yoram Zague has once again temporarily left PSG, with a real possibility of a transfer to Pafos, which holds a purchase option whose amount has not been disclosed. Qualified for the Champions League league phase last season, the Cypriot club missed out on Europa League qualification this summer and is now fighting to qualify for the Conference League.
This departure of Zague is already the 9th at PSG, if one counts only the professional players, after those of Goncalo Ramos (AC Milan), Lee Kang-in (Atletico Madrid), Randal Kolo Muani (Juventus), Noham Kamara (Lyon), Renato Marin (CD Nacional, loan), Gabriel Moscardo (Espanyol Barcelona, loan), Khalil Ayari (Dunkerque, loan) and Naoufel El Hannach (Montpellier, loan).
If one also counts the youngsters from the 2008 generation who signed their first professional contracts elsewhere (or Housni, who left on a free transfer to Nancy), PSG has parted ways with about 20 players since the start of the summer.
Meanwhile, PSG made their way back to the Campus PSG at Poissy (training centre) on Monday morning for its traditional day-after-match session, following the 2-2 draw at Rennes on Sunday. Paris will play again this Friday night at Lille, the day after the Champions League league-phase draw.
PSG’s schedule for the week is known. After a late-morning training session this Monday, Luis Enrique’s group will rest on Tuesday and return to the Campus on Wednesday at 11 a.m. (France time) for another behind-closed-doors training session. Check the full schedule here.
