High school sports are back as all fall sports are in full swing.

Here is a look ahead at the week of Aug. 31 – Sept. 5 with games and meets to watch across boys soccer, boys and girls volleyball and cross country for Oshkosh, Fond du Lac schools.

Games to Watch

Tuesday, Sept. 1

Fond du Lac at Oshkosh West, Boys Soccer, 6:30 p.m.

It's time for conference play as Oshkosh West hosts Fond du Lac. Oshkosh West is looking for its first win, while Fond du Lac has started the season 1-1. In last season's matchup, Oshkosh West defeated Fond du Lac 1-0.

Kimberly at Oshkosh, Boys Volleyball, 7 p.m.

The Oshkosh boys volleyball co-op is in its first season of varsity play and will have its first home game against Kimberly.

Central Wisconsin Christian at Oakfield, 7:15 p.m.

This girls volleyball matchup features a number of girls that were included in the preseason players to watch story. It's an early test for both teams that returned key players from a season ago.

Thursday, Sept. 3

Fond du Lac at Oshkosh West, Girls Volleyball, 7 p.m.

It's a big Fox Valley Association matchup early in the season. Oshkosh West is looking to find itself after graduating a stellar class of seniors, while Fond du Lac is led by UW-Green Bay commit Ellisyn Shultis who's already off to a hot start. Last season Fond du Lac and Oshkosh West played twice and split the season series.

Friday, Sept. 4

Neenah Invite, Cross Country

This 16-school invite includes five Oshkosh, Fond du Lac schools in Fond du Lac, Lourdes Academy, Oshkosh North, Oshkosh West and Valley Christian. The deep field will offer an early opportunity to see the strides made in the offseason.
