The Tigers had multiple players involved in injury-related stoppages against the Bears, but head coach Alex Golesh expressed little concern postgame.

"We're going to be maybe just a little bit banged up, but I think we'll be in a good spot," Golesh said. "It was a physical game."

Auburn's most notable injury concerns included edge rushers Da'Shawn Womack and Jared Smith on defense. Starting guards Cole Skinner and Jacob Strand also went down near the end of Auburn's go-ahead drive in the fourth quarter, but Golesh said both were ready to return if needed.

"We were prepared for a two-minute drive, four-minute drive," Golesh said. "We were preparing for both as we were going. It sounded like Strand was good to go as well for the end there."

Smith eventually returned to the field, and Golesh said Womack was ready to return if needed, much like his offensive linemen. Golesh also said edge rusher CK Murray was among those who may have been dinged up available.
