Think again.
During a closest to the pin competition under the lights at the PGA Tour Champions' Sanford International, Boom Boom pulled out a hybrid (??) and did the unthinkable. Aiming a good 15-20 yards right of the pin, Couples took a buttery half swing, clipped it perfectly, holstered his club and turned around to the large group watching and said "that's going to be really good."

Just how good wasn't clear yet. In the viral video you'll see below, it's around this moment when the video becomes a split screen showing a close up of Couples' yellow ball trundling toward the hole. Couples never even turned around to watch it eventually go in. Chaos ensued:
As you can see, this is no ordinary CTP competition. John Daly is there. Henrik Stenson and Miguel Angel Jimenez, too. All legends in their own right. But Freddie's swagger remains unmatched. How about that ball somehow avoiding the other five balls on the green and perfectly pouring in? You just can't teach that stuff.
