If you're a gamer who likes organizing your physical collection and you're looking for a new cozy game to play, indie developer ODIUS and publisher Loopr Partners's My Cat Scattered Games: Tidy Videogame Supermarket might be exactly what you want. Bonus points if you like cats. My Cat Scattered Games is a literal title: your in-game cat has taken your gargantuan physical games collection (represented here as funny, legally distinct versions of their real-life counterparts) and, as cats do, scattered them all over your the place. It's up to you to pick them all up and reorganize them on your shelves.

You can organize over 6,000 games and consoles such as "Lovable Kombat," "Mega Bavario 64," and "Red Spirit 2" for systems like the "Kekstation 2" and "Y-box." You'll also need to rescue your cat, who after making this mess, somehow got itself trapped in a claw machine. Check out the first trailer above and the first screenshots in the gallery below.
"The job sounds simple enough," the developer says. "Pick up a game, identify its platform, find the right section, and put it back on the shelf. But with thousands of discs, cartridges, consoles, and other gaming treasures scattered across the store, keeping everything organized is easier said than done. Each shelf can hold up to three different games and ten copies of each title, giving players plenty of room to develop their own sorting strategy. As the store gradually comes back together, players can discover parody game covers, jokes, and references inspired by different eras of video game history."
You'll unlock ways to speed up your sorting and organization as you progress, but there are no ways to fail the game or lose. It's completely cozy and go-at-your-own-pace.
