It’s been a cruel week for young NFL star quarterbacks, and New York Giants star Jaxson Dart is the latest to fall victim to the injury bug.

Early in the team’s Monday Night Football clash with the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium, Dart went down with a lower leg injury. Dart was crushed in the backfield by the Rams’ defensive front and was on the turf writhing in obvious pain.
Dart was ultimately helped off the field by trainers and escorted to the locker room. The good news, however, is that Dart did not go for X-rays, according to the ESPN broadcast.
This week’s Monday night showdown is accompanied by a ManningCast with Peyton and Eli Manning, and the two immediately reacted to Dart’s injury with obvious concern for the Giants quarterback’s leg.

Hopefully Dart avoids any significant injury, especially after a hot start to the season in Week One against the Dallas Cowboys.

In the Giants’ impressive Week One win, Dart completed 23-of-29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns. He added 54 yards on the ground.
We’ll have to wait for an official update from the team, which will hopefully come at halftime.
