2026 IHSAA boys tennis sectional brackets for East Central Indiana

The IHSAA boys tennis regular season is drawing to a close, and now teams from East Central Indiana and across the state will turn their attention towards the postseason.

Each team learned its first-round sectional opponent on Sunday, Sept. 27, with the IHSAA's blind draw sectional pairings show. Sectional tournaments will begin play on Tuesday, Sept. 29, and run through Saturday, Oct. 3. Regionals will follow on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 6-7, and semi-states are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10. The IHSAA boys tennis state finals will be held at North Central High School on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 16-17.
Three area schools will look to continue sectional championship streaks. Delta has won 33 sectional titles in a row, while Jay County and New Castle have both won four in a row. All three will serve as sectional hosts as they look to extend their dynasties for another season.
Here are the sectional brackets revealed by the IHSAA on Sunday evening.

- Match 1: Tri vs. Shenandoah
- Match 2:Blue River Valley vs. New Castle
- Sectional Championship: Match 1 Winner vs. Match 2 Winner
Sectional 53 at Jay County
- Match 1: Union City vs. Jay County
- Match 2:Winchester Community vs. Randolph Southern
- Sectional Championship: Match 1 Winner vs. Match 2 Winner
Sectional 54 at Delta
- Match 1:Delta vs. Yorktown
- Match 2:Muncie Central vs. Muncie Burris
- Sectional Championship: Match 1 Winner vs. Match 2 Winner
