On Thursday, a grand jury no billed Brooks in the case. However, according to court records, Brooks still faces a misdemeanor charge of breaking a doorknob involving a dispute with a different pregnant woman. Records show that the misdemeanor case is still ongoing.
Eyewitness News reached out to UH about whether Brooks will be reinstated to the football team, but we have not heard back.
