A $40-million lottery ticket in Ontario will expire soon if no one claims it.

Visit solvita.blog for more information.

The Lotto Max ticket is from the Oct. 28, 2025 draw was sold in Ontario, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission confirmed.

The ticket was purchased at a retailer in Grey County, which includes communities such as Owen Sound, Meaford, The Blue Mountains, Flesherton, Markdale, Durham, and Hanover.

So, you know the drill — local residents, check your pockets, bags and the like, while visitors who may have vacationed or driven through the extended cottage country to marvel at the fall colours should also go through their kitchen junk drawers and glove compartments, just in case.

The winning numbers

Tickets expire one year after the draw dates, so you still have a few weeks — but why wait?

If you play your own numbers, these are the winning ones from the draw and may ring a bell — 06, 14, 17, 19, 26, 43, 45, with Bonus Number 27.

While OLG doesn’t know the identity of the person or group that purchased the winning ticket, but it does have very detailed information about it because it was sold at an authorized retailer.

As with all prize claims, a review process will be conducted to determine the rightful ownership of the ticket.

If you believe you purchased this winning ticket, head to OLG’s unclaimed tickets page or contact OLG at 1-800-387-0098.

Another huge jackpot

This expiring ticket comes as the current Lotto Max draw sits at $75 million after there was no big jackpot winner yet again.

There were, however, plenty of other big prizes won in Friday night’s draw, including a Maxmillions winner worth $1 million that was sold in Toronto.

There were two Encore winning tickets, each worth $100,000, sold in Oakville and the Haliburton/Muskoka area, as well as three Maxplus winning tickets, also worth $100,000, sold in Barrie, Brampton and Elgin County.

Aside from the $75-million jackpot now up for grabs on Tuesday, the total number of $1 million Maxmillions tickets has grown to 12, while there are now a whopping 75 Maxplus prizes worth $100,000.

The Lotto Max jackpot has yet to reach its cap of $90 million, which was increased from its previous $80-million limit in April.

The $80 million Lotto Max jackpot has been won once in Ontario, by a single ticket holder last December.

You can purchase tickets at authorized retailers or on OLG.ca until 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
