4 NFL teams that should trade for Tony Pollard

· Yahoo Sports

The 2026 NFL season is nearly a month away from the league’s trade deadline, and one name that continues to pop up is Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard.

Tennessee could use Pollard as trade bait after the AFC South team fell to 0-4 in Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens. The Titans’ woes have certainly brought up a lot of questions about the viability of Cam Ward at quarterback.

However, Pollard is still a quality running back despite playing for a winless franchise. This season, the 29-year-old is averaging 4 yards per carry despite having limited touches in Tennessee’s offense.

Here are four ideal trade partners the Titans could look to ship the veteran RB off to before the November 10 trade deadline.

Minnesota is 4-0 on the season despite having one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Aaron Jones has been efficient without Jordan Mason on the field, but Pollard would be a huge upgrade at the position.

Pollard’s topped 1,000 yards over the last four seasons, and he could create some matchup troubles for opposing defenses when Justin Jefferson returns from his left ankle injury.

Denver Broncos

Sean Payton’s team hasn’t topped 100 rushing yards in a game this season, which is deeply troubling for the Broncos. Denver’s top RB options J.K. Dobbins and RJ Harvey haven’t been effective, which could lead to the team outsourcing its struggles at the position.

Seattle has a plethora of RB options as the team currently sits 3-1 through four weeks. However, the combination of Jadarian Price, George Holani and Emanuel Wilson hasn’t been threatening.

The Seahawks are bringing in veteran Joe Mixon, who missed all of the 2025 season with a foot injury. He could be a temporary fix until Zach Charbonnet comes back from injury, but the NFC West franchise appears to have a lot of names on its depth chart and little production.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are one of the most injured-plagued teams at the moment, especially after Saquon Barkley’s recent setback. Philly also lost Tank Bigsby to a core muscle injury that sent him on IR.

Philly’s season might already be over, but if the team doesn’t want to just ride with Will Shipley at RB then Pollard could be a quality trade option.
